Work Experience Dawood has worked in the occupational health & safety sector for the last 15 years. Assessment is a two-step process:

• A question paper to assess what you know (online open-book examination to be completed within 24 hours)
• A practical risk assessment to assess what you can do (to be completed at your/any workplace ideally in 03 hours)
• Assessments are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.
• Both units, IG1, IG2 need to be passed by a candidate for an award to be made and a candidate will receive a certificate of successful completion by NEBOSH itself.

Modes of Study:	Regular Classes: A full-time block release course (minimum of two weeks, ten working days including question paper hours) Weekend Classes: Spread over at least ten weeks Evening Classes: Classes in the evening time Open or Distance Learning: No classes, self-preparation but virtual support by the tutor
Qualification Level and Number of Credits:	Notional SCQF Level 6 with 11 credits (Equivalent to RQF Level 3)
Entry  Requirements:	None
Pass Standards:	Unit IG1: 45 marks Unit IG2: Pass or Refer A ‘Pass’ must be achieved in both units to achieve the International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. The qualification grade is based on the result from the Unit IG1 examination. Learners need to achieve a pass in both units (Units IG1 and IG2) before a parchment can be issued.
